Today we managed to film the final scene to our title sequence which consisted of Teddy firing a water gun at the camera. This scene proved to be problematic due to the reflection of the camera in the acetate. To film this we originally planned of using a window so we could film the water trickling down the glass as we thought this would be a nice effect however we were unable to do this so we placed a sheet of acetate in front of the camera lens. The outcome of this was very appealing and had a sophisticated look to it.
This was our original set up which we changed, this is located at Welling school.
This was the key prop in this scene, a small water gun, which we covered in duct tape due to a leakage. We wanted to gun to be small to add to Teddy's idiotic personality, and I think the tape adds a metallic look to the gun which makes it look more elegant and suitable for a accident prone spy rather than red which connotes danger.
This is the other main prop we used which was an a4 sheet of acetate.
