Monday:
Today we intend to carry on filming as we are lacking significant footage which draws the editing to a halt. With this in mind we wanted to get the lake scene filmed as due to complications with the weather we were unable to film this scene when we originally intended. This was completed after school and I am very satisfied with he outcome due to us filming it in a sink rather then a real lake, which would of looked dark and murky resulting in a reflection of the horror genre. To create our 'lake' we added leaves to a sink, lined with black paper, and had the photograph falling into the depths of the water. Luckily we had no complications so everything went to plan. We also started looking for font for the opening titles, to do this we searched 'handwriting' on dafont, however our final choice has yet to be decided.
Tuesday: We are hoping to start on our green screen work, which consisted of blowing up a phone. We want to do this early in the week as we feel this will be problematic. In order to prepare and have a better understanding of using a green screen to a professional standard we watched a video on you tube which explained the process of green screen. I found this video to be very helpful and it has boosted our groups confidence in using the green screen properly. We will be using this video for later reference to help us tomorrow.
Wednesday: Unfortunately, due to lack of equipment, we cant film our coin toss as we intended as the cameras don't run enough frames per second meaning it couldn't be at the right speed. Because of this difficultly we will need to use an existing video from the internet to use in our video. We also are going to film our suitcase scene, and once this is filmed we can finalise the editing.
